Role Overview
Leidos seeks SOC Analysts for the GEO SPACES Security Operations Capability supporting AGO mission-critical networks.

Role overview
Leidos seeks SOC Analysts for the GEO SPACES Security Operations Capability supporting AGO mission-critical networks.
The role reports to the GEO SPACES Security Operations Team Lead and may vary according to skills and experience.
Multiple new systems will be introduced over the first 12 to 18 months, creating opportunities to mature the capability.
Security operations functions
- Perform security monitoring, detection, and response.
- Manage vulnerabilities and conduct cyber threat intelligence activities.
- Deliver security engineering across SIEM, endpoint, network, gateway, and detection engineering.
- Provide trusted advisory services and develop security operations system requirements.
- Conduct change reviews and approvals.
- Maintain relationships with partner SOCs and security authorities in and outside Defence.
Capability maturity
- Support maturing team structure and alignment to capability delivery.
- Contribute to operational processes and procedures, including engagement with external capabilities.
- Support reporting within Leidos, the agency, and other authorities.
Security clearance requirements
- Applicants must be Australian citizens with active NV2 security clearance.
- Applicants must be willing and eligible to uplift to TSPV security clearance and complete DISA/OSA.
Experience guidance
- Junior roles seek two years of IT security experience or four years of general IT support for cloud, network, gateway, or endpoint technologies.
- Senior roles seek five to ten years delivering security operations functions and willingness to support junior capability growth.
- Scripting and broader coding experience is valuable.
- AGO or intelligence agency experience and Defence security operations knowledge are ideal for senior roles.
