Skin Trainer / Beauty Trainer

Overview

Job Purpose

Training & Development

• Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions on skincare, beauty treatments, and salon services.
• Develop lesson plans, training manuals, SOPs, and practical demonstrations.
• Assess trainee performance through practical and theoretical evaluations.
• Mentor and coach therapists to improve technical and customer service skills.
• Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, products, and treatment techniques.

Skin & Facial Training

• Train staff on skin analysis and consultation procedures.
• Demonstrate basic and advanced facial treatments, clean-ups, de-tan treatments, bleaching, skin polishing, and facial massage.
• Educate trainees on skincare products, ingredients, and treatment protocols.

Waxing & Hair Removal Training

• Train therapists on full-body waxing techniques.
• Demonstrate facial waxing and threading procedures.
• Ensure proper client preparation, aftercare, and safety procedures.
• Monitor adherence to hygiene and sterilization standards.

Manicure & Pedicure Training

• Conduct training on classic and spa manicure/pedicure services.
• Teach nail preparation, shaping, cuticle care, polish application, gel polish, and nail hygiene.
• Train staff on product usage, equipment handling, and sanitation procedures.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with salon hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor treatment quality and service consistency.
• Conduct refresher training and performance improvement programs.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and competency reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Aesthetics, or related field.
• CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent certification is plus.
• Training certification is an advantage.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in beauty therapy, skincare, or salon operations.
• Minimum 1–2 years of training/coaching experience preferred.
• Strong practical experience in facials, waxing, manicure, and pedicure.
