Role overview
Manage interior fit-out site work from the initial stage through handover, overseeing production execution, teams, subcontractors, schedules, and reporting.
Site and project delivery
- Supervise production works and instruct team members and subcontractors.
- Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and guide execution.
- Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, and report to the project manager.
- Plan and manage materials, manpower, labor schedules, and worker assignments.
- Monitor costs and project timelines against projections and deliver within assigned deadlines.
- Ensure workers wear required safety and protective equipment on site.
- Recommend operational or procedural changes to improve efficiency.
Reporting
- Prepare site reports and progress reports, including weekly progress reports for the client.
Experience and expertise
- At least five years of experience in the same field is required.
- Expert knowledge of joinery, interior fit-out regulations, and quality standards is required.
- Interior project-site experience and understanding of project, procurement, scheduling, supervision, and record-keeping requirements are required.
- Must be able to review drawings and execute projects with the assigned team and qualified subcontractors.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role with work performed in person.
