Site Supervisor

Job summary

Supervision and work coordination

• Supervise and coordinate labourers and site workers; allocate tasks and explain responsibilities.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and performance.
• Ensure work meets schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, contractors, and other supervisors.
• Report progress, manpower needs, delays, and site issues to management.

Safety, resources, and records

• Enforce workplace health, safety, and company procedures; inspect work areas and proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Train workers in work methods and safety practices, maintain discipline, and address minor workforce issues.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available for daily work.
• Keep basic records of manpower, attendance, progress, and materials used.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action; perform other duties assigned by the Site or Project Manager.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in construction, maintenance, facilities, or general labour operations.
• Good leadership and communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work in a site environment.
• Physical fitness is required; basic English is preferred and additional languages are an advantage.
