Supervise and coordinate workers on site so daily activities are safe, efficient, and aligned with company standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise workers, allocate tasks, and monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and performance.
- Ensure work meets project schedules and quality standards; enforce workplace health, safety, and company procedures.
- Inspect work areas and proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, contractors, and other supervisors; report progress, manpower needs, delays, and site issues.
- Train workers in working methods and safety; maintain discipline and resolve minor workforce issues.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available; keep manpower, attendance, progress, and materials records.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably in construction, maintenance, facilities, or general labour operations.
- Leadership and communication skills; ability to manage and motivate workers.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; physical fitness for site work.
- Basic English is preferred; additional languages are advantageous.
