Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
- Assign tasks to workers and monitor their productivity and workmanship.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Engineers to execute daily work plans.
- Monitor attendance and manage labor allocation to maximize productivity.
- Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available before starting work activities.
- Report material shortages, equipment issues, and site problems to the Site Engineer.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure all workers comply with company safety policies and site HSE requirements.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and promote safe working practices.
- Monitor work progress and report daily achievements, delays, and issues.
- Assist in resolving site-related technical and operational problems.
- Participate in inspections, snagging, and rectification works before project handover.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum
- 5 years of experience
- as a Foreman in
Fit-Out
- or finishing projects.
- Strong knowledge of finishing works, including gypsum, ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, joinery, and decorative finishes.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
