Job Purpose
To install, maintain, inspect, and program fire fighting and fire alarm systems, ensuring full integration with building management systems and compliance with approved standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
· Install fire fighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers.
· Perform routine and preventive maintenance for fire protection systems.
· Inspect and test systems to ensure proper functionality.
· Identify faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
· Program fire alarm control panels and ensure proper configuration.
· Integrate fire alarm systems with building management systems (BMS).
· Follow occupational health and safety procedures at all times.
· Prepare periodic maintenance and inspection reports.
· Coordinate with engineers and site supervisors.
· Adhere to technical drawings and operational instructions.
Qualifications
Diploma or technical certification in Occupational Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia in firefighting systems installation, maintenance, and fire alarm panel programming.
Skills
- · Strong knowledge of fire protection and fire alarm systems.
- · Experience in programming fire alarm control panels.
- · Ability to integrate fire alarm systems with building management systems (BMS).
- · Ability to read technical drawings.
- · Problem-solving skills.
- · Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- · Ability to work in a team environment.
- Work Environment:
- Work is performed at project sites, buildings, or industrial facilities and may require flexible hours or emergency response.
