Site Foreman

Role

Site supervision and coordination

• Supervise fire-fighting installation and maintenance works.
• Allocate technicians and helpers based on daily work requirements.
• Read and follow approved drawings and site instructions.
• Monitor daily progress and completed quantities.
• Check materials received, issued, and used at the site.
• Ensure proper workmanship and compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer about progress, materials, and manpower.
• Report site problems, delays, and material shortages promptly.

Daily documentation

• Maintain written daily records of the date, project and location, manpower and distribution, completed work and its location, and quantities.
• Record materials received and used, remaining materials, pending work, shortages, site problems or delays, and instructions received.
• Record rework or modifications, daily progress percentage, and the Foreman’s name and signature.
• Submit the Daily Work Report for Project Engineer review and signature; work is not considered complete unless properly recorded and submitted.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in fire-fighting systems.
• Good knowledge of sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant, fire pump, and fire-fighting pipework systems.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Good leadership and manpower management skills.
• Strong discipline in daily reporting and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of NFPA and UAE Civil Defence requirements.

Pay

• AED 4,000–5,500 per month.

Work location

• In-person work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
