Fire Protection Site Engineer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise fire fighting and fire alarm installation works.
• Manage site activities, technicians, manpower, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines.
• Monitor progress, materials, inspections, and project requirements.
• Prepare WIRs, MIRs, RFIs, daily reports, and other site documents.
• Coordinate fire fighting and fire alarm testing, inspection, and commissioning.
• Coordinate Abu Dhabi Civil Defence inspections, testing, approvals, and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence requirements, and NFPA Standards.
• Follow up on NCRs, observations, punch lists, testing, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least five years of relevant Fire Protection site experience.
• Practical Abu Dhabi Fire Protection site and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence experience is required.
• Experience with Civil Defence inspections, testing, commissioning, approvals, and final handover.
• Good knowledge of NFPA Standards.
• Ability to independently manage site teams, subcontractors, materials, and inspections.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Three or more years of Abu Dhabi fire fighting and fire alarm project experience is preferred.
• A UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 6,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
