Role overview
TurnKey Renovations seeks a hands-on Site Engineer / Junior Project Manager with UAE interior fit-out and renovation experience.
The role is focused on site execution rather than office-based coordination and offers a path toward greater project ownership and client coordination.
Site and technical responsibilities
- Supervise daily fit-out and renovation works to approved drawings and specifications; take accurate site measurements and communicate site conditions.
- Review drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate solutions before work proceeds.
- Inspect finishing work, maintain quality standards, coordinate inspections, and ensure snags are closed promptly.
Project coordination and management
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades; monitor schedules, material deliveries, and site logistics.
- Assist with procurement, material planning, and resource allocation; prepare progress updates and communicate status to teams and clients.
- Follow up on outstanding work and deadlines, and communicate with consultants about site progress and requirements.
- Support the Senior Project Manager with timelines, costs, and deliverables; gradually own assigned projects from planning through completion.
Mandatory qualifications
- At least 3 years of UAE interior fit-out or renovation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- G+1 certification with Dubai Municipality.
- Valid UAE driving licence and own vehicle.
- Strong hands-on experience with interior finishing works and ability to read architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of UAE/Dubai construction requirements and strong communication skills.
- English is required; Arabic is preferred.
Experience listing discrepancy
A separate experience listing says UAE interior fit-out/renovation industry: 2 years required, while the mandatory requirements state a minimum of 3 years.
Work location
- The position is in person and is not office-based; it requires hands-on site work.
