Junior Procurement and Material Coordinator – Interior Fit-Out & Renovation

Role overview

Supplier and procurement support

• Contact suppliers for quotations, product information, availability, and lead times based on project requirements.
• Review quotations for accuracy across quantities, specifications, dimensions, finishes, pricing, and completeness; report discrepancies and coordinate corrections.
• Follow up on quotations, availability, and delivery status; research new suppliers and compare quotations to identify suitable options.
• Request invoices and supporting documents for the Accounts team and maintain organized procurement records.

Material coordination

• Prepare and update project material lists and specifications, including descriptions, quantities, and prices.
• Research material characteristics and product alternatives; request and coordinate supplier samples.
• Occasionally collect samples and small purchases from local suppliers.
• Maintain supplier catalogues, price lists, and technical data sheets; source product images and information for moodboards and client presentations.
• Organize the physical material library, including labeling and categorizing samples.

Mandatory requirements

• 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or materials experience in interior design, a related field, and specifically the UAE interior fit-out or renovation industry.
• Valid UAE driver's licence and own vehicle; local sample and small-purchase collection may be needed.
• Diploma required.
• English required.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Other qualifications

• Strong organization, attention to detail and accuracy, communication, supplier follow-up, and proactive willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and design is an advantage.
• Travel up to 25% is preferred.
