Site Engineer- Civil Works

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise blockwork and plastering works.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Act as the liaison between the company, main contractor, and site workforce.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, productivity, and work progress.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Prepare site documentation, reports, inspection records, and progress reports.
• Track progress against planned targets and highlight delays or issues.
• Coordinate with other trades and ensure proper work sequencing.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality and safety requirements.
• Provide daily and weekly progress updates to management.
• Support manpower planning, allocation, and resource requirements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolution.

Experience and requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in civil or finishing construction.
• Strong hands-on experience in blockwork and plastering.
• Experience in tile works, gypsum partitions, and gypsum ceilings is an advantage.
• Good understanding of site management and construction coordination.
• Experience dealing with main contractors and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, site documentation, and progress reporting.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and maintain project progress.
• Willingness to work on high-rise building projects.
• UAE Driving Licence is an advantage.
• A diploma is preferred.

• Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 8,000 per month.
