Role overview
Prepare MEP shop, construction, and as-built drawings for building and MEP projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare IFC, coordination, construction, and as-built drawings based on engineering designs and project requirements.
- Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural drawings and revise them in response to consultant or client comments.
- Maintain accurate drawing records and revisions.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM modelers, and site teams.
- Ensure drawings follow project specifications and required standards.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience as an MEP Draftsman; the posting also lists 5 years of MEP drafting experience as required.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency and a good understanding of MEP systems and construction drawings.
- Experience preparing shop, coordination, and as-built drawings.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and coordinate drawings with other disciplines.
- UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
- UAE-based candidates and immediate joiners are preferred.
