Recruitment consultancy Sisco Jobs is hiring for a Site Construction Manager position in Qatar.
The role leads large-scale mechanical construction activities, multidisciplinary coordination, project progress, and safe execution at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Plan and coordinate mechanical construction activities using approved drawings, schedules, and project requirements.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions for schedule deviations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractor, and client teams.
- Review drawings, method statements, work schedules, and site requirements before execution.
- Report progress, resource requirements, site constraints, and completion status to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Site construction management covering complex construction activities, manpower, resources, and schedules.
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction, installation, and site execution requirements.
- Construction planning and translation of project schedules into practical site execution plans.
- HSE compliance and safe construction practices.
- Quality control against drawings, specifications, and required standards.
Preferred Skills
- Contractor and subcontractor management.
- Construction progress monitoring and reporting.
- Multidisciplinary project coordination.
Experience and Education
- Candidates must have 15–18 years of relevant work experience.
- The role requires substantial experience in mechanical construction and senior-level site construction management.
- Minimum education is B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
