Required skills and experience

• 14 years of professional experience supporting military and/or government cryptologic missions.
• Experience may include work as a military or government collector, language analyst, or signal analyst related to electromagnetic emissions.
• Experience with SIGINT collection and collection management, equipment operation, collection-tasking strategies, statistics, logs, optimization, system upgrades, and user training.
• In-depth understanding of the U.S. SIGINT System and SIGINT collection and processing facilities.
• Understanding of applicable export issues; experience with all-source research and identifying target communications.
• Knowledge of end-to-end data flow and site capabilities for recognizing and defining collection problems.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships across the Intelligence Community, military services, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Operate collection and collection management equipment; support mission and collection management and collection-tasking strategies.
• Assist users with new system upgrades and installations, and operate, demonstrate, and train users on current or prototype systems.
• Engage with customers and Offices of Primary Concern; respond to collection requirements and support collection-priority reviews.
• Gather statistics, maintain daily logs and collection summaries, optimize collection activities, and prepare reports and metrics.
• Support junior personnel’s SIGINT analytical tradecraft development and provide technical direction for training.
• Research target communications, compile signal-characteristic information, and maintain knowledge of site capabilities and end-to-end data flow.
