Showroom Accountant

Schedule and location

• Work week is Sunday through Thursday, with working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM Saudi time.
• The role is on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the role

Cash, inventory, and accounting

• Handle cash, bank matters, and receipts; complete daily reconciliations, resolve differences, and report reconciled income and expenses.
• Maintain inventory ledgers and daily sales movements; conduct stock counts, investigate variances, and flag slow-moving or at-risk inventory.
• Obtain Operations sign-off on month-end inventory; record cost centres and business streams separately and accurately.
• Own VAT treatment and maintain clean, traceable records to support filings.

Suppliers, close, and coordination

• Own supplier ledgers, prepare statements, and secure sign-offs from Supply and suppliers.
• Reconcile inventory value, price updates, and profit and loss with the Inventory and Pricing Analyst; track marketing spending against budget and approvals.
• Respond to CFO and board finance requests and manage the Finance Analyst’s reporting and dashboard maintenance.
• Coordinate financial matters between Cars and Finance, keeping both sides aligned through clear, timely documentation.

Process improvement

• Identify manual or duplicated steps, drive automation and system improvements, and standardize and document processes.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience; fluency in Arabic and English.
• ACCA, part-qualified CA, or a similar professional qualification.
• Hands-on experience with cash and bank reconciliations, inventory and supplier accounting, and month-end closing.
• Strong understanding of VAT, cost centre accounting, revenue and cost cut-offs, and financial records.
• Experience improving finance processes through automation, system improvements, or reduced manual workflows.
