Acts as the legally authorized representative for the group's maritime and commercial shipping operations in the UAE.
This role manages high-level document execution, provides vital administrative and external liaison support, and assists with maritime accounting and audit requirements. [1]
Commercial Shipping & Document Execution
- **Authorized Representative:**
- Act as the official company signatory for UAE maritime transactions and commercial shipping operations.
- **Contract Management:**
- Execute and sign charter party agreements, legal contracts, deeds, and related shipping documentation.
- **Process Coordination:**
- Manage the document lifecycle to guarantee timely execution and completion of all legal agreements.
- **Corporate Authentication:**
- Apply the official company chop/seal to validate legal and official documents.
External Liaison & Administrative Support
- **Government & Corporate Liaison:**
- Visit government departments, banks, auditors, and company secretaries to submit and collect official documents.
- **Office Administration:**
- Perform daily administrative tasks, organize corporate files, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- **Ad-Hoc Tasks:**
- Execute special projects and miscellaneous assignments assigned by management.
Financial & Audit Support
- **System Management:**
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of
Danaos
- , the company’s maritime accounting software.
- **Audit Preparation:**
- Compile, organize, and prepare financial and operational documents for annual or periodic audits.
- **Auditor Correspondence:**
- Serve as a point of contact for auditors to resolve queries by providing accurate data and supporting files.
