Service Technician
Role Overview
The IT / AV Technician installs, configures, commissions, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs IT, AV, and security products at customer sites.
The role supports enterprise IT infrastructure, Interactive Flat Panels, digital collaboration solutions, CCTV, networking equipment, cybersecurity solutions, and related hardware and software.
The technician provides technical support under company procedures, OEM standards, SLA requirements, and HSE expectations.

The IT / AV Technician installs, configures, commissions, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs IT, AV, and security products at customer sites.
The role supports enterprise IT infrastructure, Interactive Flat Panels, digital collaboration solutions, CCTV, networking equipment, cybersecurity solutions, and related hardware and software.
The technician provides technical support under company procedures, OEM standards, SLA requirements, and HSE expectations.
Compensation
- The stated budget is 6500+ with fuel and an air ticket; the compensation cadence and currency are not specified.
Required skills and qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, electronics, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Required capabilities include troubleshooting, computer hardware and software knowledge, networking fundamentals, customer service, time management, prioritization, independent work, and continuous learning.
- A valid UAE driving licence is required.
IT infrastructure support
- Install, configure, commission, and maintain computers, servers, printers, scanners, peripherals, user accounts, permissions, shared folders, and network resources.
- Configure wired and wireless networking equipment, perform hardware diagnostics and component replacement, and execute operating system, firmware, and software updates.
AV solutions
- Install and commission Interactive Flat Panels, video conferencing equipment, cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and presentation systems.
- Conduct customer demonstrations and user orientation and troubleshoot display, connectivity, audio, and video issues.
Security solutions
- Install and configure IP CCTV systems, NVRs, DVRs, cameras, storage, remote viewing, mobile applications, and access control systems where applicable.
- Support endpoint protection, firewall, antivirus, email security, and network security solutions and perform device security updates.
Field service operations
- Attend customer requests within agreed SLA timelines, resolve incidents, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in installations, upgrades, migrations, and relocation projects.
- Read technical drawings and network layouts, meet project specifications and quality standards, maintain service documentation, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Preferred certifications
- Microsoft certifications, certified CCTV or security systems training, cybersecurity fundamentals, and OEM Interactive Flat Panel training are preferred.
