About This Role
Position Overview
River Island Interiors is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to improve our organic search presence and lead generation across the UAE market.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on UAE SEO experience and a strong understanding of local search trends, Google ranking strategies, technical SEO, and competitive keyword targeting.
This role is focused entirely on SEO — including technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, keyword strategy, content planning, and organic growth.
Candidates with experience in interior design, fit-out, construction, architecture, or real estate industries will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic.
- Perform keyword research focused on UAE search behavior and high-conversion industry keywords.
- Optimize website pages, blogs, landing pages, and service content for SEO and user experience.
- Conduct technical SEO audits covering indexing, crawlability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, mobile optimization, redirects, and website health.
- Manage local SEO strategies including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and UAE map rankings.
- Work with developers and content teams to implement SEO improvements.
- Monitor competitors and identify ranking opportunities.
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- Prepare monthly SEO reports with actionable insights and growth analysis.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SEO experience in the UAE market.
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and local SEO.
- Proven ability to improve organic rankings and generate qualified leads through SEO.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and website structure optimization.
- Candidates **must** provide proven SEO case studies or portfolio examples showing ranking improvements for competitive UAE keywords.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

- Organic traffic growth
- Lead generation growth
- Local map ranking improvements
Preferred Experience
- Interior fit-out or interior design industry experience
- Experience handling competitive UAE local search markets
- SEO content strategy and content planning experience
