About Us

Market Securities Wealth (the trading name of Market Securities (Dubai) Limited) is a newly established wealth management business backed by Market Securities Group, an established, international, and well-capitalised financial services organisation with a growing global presence.

As we continue to build and scale our platform, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Wealth Operations Specialist in Corporate Actions to join the founding operations team.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape operational processes from the ground up while working within a growing business supported by a leading global custodian and institutional-grade infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing best practices, enhancing client service, and supporting the continued growth of the platform.

The Role

The primary focus of the role will be Corporate Actions (COAC) oversight and management across a diverse range of wealth management client portfolios.

Being one of the founding members of the operations team, the role will naturally broaden to support additional operational activities, providing exposure across multiple functions within a modern wealth management platform.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of outcomes, and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to a brand-new service offering within Market Securities Group.

Corporate Actions Oversight & Management

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Corporate Actions across the wealth management platform.
  • Provide oversight of corporate action events administered through the firm's global custodian, ensuring events are accurately processed, monitored, and reconciled.
  • Review and monitor mandatory corporate actions, including dividends, coupon payments, stock splits, redemptions, mergers, spin-offs, and other capital reorganisations, investigating and resolving any exceptions or discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of voluntary corporate actions and client elections, including rights issues, tender offers, exchange offers, proxy voting, and other election-based events.
  • Coordinate with Investment Advisors and Relationship Managers to communicate available options to clients and ensure timely collection and submission of election instructions.
  • Monitor event deadlines, entitlements, and custodian notifications to ensure all required actions are completed within market timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison with custodians and counterparties for corporate action-related queries, escalations, and exception management.
  • Develop and maintain robust controls, procedures, and governance frameworks to support the continued growth of the platform's Corporate Actions capability.

Wealth Operations Support

  • Provide operational support across key wealth operations activities, including settlements and trade monitoring, cash and security transfers, payment processing, and exception management.
  • Liaise with custodians, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and resolution of operational issues.
  • Support the monitoring and control of operational risks across the platform.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable operational processes and controls suitable for a growing wealth management business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 4–5 years of direct Corporate Actions experience within wealth management, private banking, securities services, custody, brokerage, or asset management.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing both mandatory and voluntary corporate action events.
  • Proven experience handling client elections, entitlement processing, event monitoring, and exception management.
  • Experience working with global custodians and third-party platform providers.
  • Understanding of the operational lifecycle of securities transactions.
  • Exposure to settlements, cash management, payments, or broader securities operations would be advantageous.
  • Experience contributing to process design, operational controls, and service improvements is highly desirable.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong Corporate Actions subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute across functions in a growing business.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
