Seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer who can work across component libraries, stakeholder presentations, design, and engineering handover.
The role connects design and engineering and requires understanding how designs are built.
Key responsibilities
- Help own and evolve design-system components, tokens, documentation, and governance as the product grows.
- Design end-to-end experiences across the core product suite, from early concepts to pixel-perfect specifications.
- Prepare precise developer handovers with annotations, interaction states, edge cases, and responsive behavior.
- Partner with frontend engineers on shared standards and a common language between design and code.
- Audit component consistency, identify gaps, and retire components that no longer serve the product.
- Contribute to critiques and design culture, mentor mid-level designers, and work with product managers and researchers to simplify financial workflows.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 2 years working in or leading a design system.
- Deep Figma expertise, including variables, auto layout, component architecture, and multi-brand theming.
- Proven ability to provide effective developer handover; solid understanding of how components are built in code, though coding is not required.
- Experience with regulated or data-heavy products, such as fintech or banking, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and strong visual craft.
