Role overview

Design responsibilities

• Conduct discovery, audit existing experiences, map user journeys and interactions, and develop sitemaps and information architecture.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and polished high-fidelity mockups; iterate based on testing and stakeholder feedback.
• Design responsive experiences and annotate flows and components for developer handoff.
• Build reusable design systems and component libraries that follow client brand standards and Teifi design principles.
• Present client design reviews, incorporate feedback and secure formal sign-off before build.
• Support developers during implementation and review builds against approved designs.
• Apply accessibility standards and WCAG throughout design; support usability testing where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least four years of professional web and mobile interface design experience and ability to lead multiple projects.
• Strong UX/UI portfolio and understanding of UX, interaction and visual design fundamentals.
• Experience with wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups and design systems; familiarity with accessibility and WCAG.
• Experience in agile and sprint-based delivery; ability to present and defend design decisions to clients.
• Fluency in Figma is required.
• Shopify or ecommerce experience and previous agency experience are strong assets; front-end development and CMS familiarity are also assets.

Hiring condition

Pay
