Senior Technical Engineer (Carpentry & Wood Factory Operations)

Overview

Salary: QAR 4,000 – 5,000

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory production and manufacturing activities
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines
• Coordinate with design, procurement, sales, and operations teams
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
• Monitor product quality and implement quality control procedures
• Resolve technical and production-related issues
• Supervise fabrication, assembly, finishing, and installation processes
• Prepare production reports and progress updates
• Support inventory planning and material procurement
• Lead production teams and maintain high workmanship standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a joinery, carpentry, furniture manufacturing, or wood processing factory
• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials, and production processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings
• Experience in production planning, factory operations, and quality control
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in GCC countries will be an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Experience in joinery, custom furniture manufacturing, and interior fit-out projects
• Knowledge of CNC machines, panel saws, edge banders, and woodworking equipment
• Understanding of production costing and material optimization
• Immediate availability preferred
