Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior Technical Civil Engineer (BIM) for its Technical Department on a landmark high-rise development in Riyadh.
The role provides technical leadership for civil and structural deliverables, BIM integration, technical compliance, quality, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout construction.
Responsibilities
- Review civil and structural design and shop drawings for tower projects against approved design intent and specifications.
- Prepare and coordinate shop drawings with BIM models and actual site conditions, and maintain as-built records for handover.
- Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs for procurement, tendering, and variation or change order evaluation.
- Conduct technical and QC reviews against approved design, the Saudi Building Code, and international standards.
- Support BIM coordination and clash-free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Review vendor and subcontractor submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
- Support site civil engineers and participate in inspections, witness testing, and structural commissioning reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in civil or structural engineering.
- Proven experience on high-rise tower projects.
- Strong BIM coordination experience throughout design and construction phases.
- Experience may be gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Previous experience with major contractors or developers is preferred.
Technical Skills
- BIM experience with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or equivalent is required.
- AutoCAD, civil and structural shop drawing preparation, as-built documentation, and technical drawing review are required.
- BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, Saudi Building Code, international standards, QA/QC, and technical submittal review are required.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is required.
Preferred Credentials
- Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
- BIM-related certifications such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or BIM Management are advantageous.
