Lemon Tree Consulting is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with comprehensive experience in banking and fintech domains to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in digital banking, trade finance, and payment systems, and demonstrates proficiency in business analysis and solution design. This role requires advanced expertise in managing stakeholder relationships, documenting detailed business requirements, and translating these into clear user stories and functional specifications. With a deep understanding of systems like Finastra and Temenos, along with API and integration strategies, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of technical solutions. The position involves coordinating project activities across multiple teams and vendors, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards while supporting rigorous testing phases.

This role leads and mentors a team of three business analysts, fostering collaboration and guiding them through complex analysis and solution design tasks. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. They are expected to possess a well-rounded knowledge of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring project execution aligns with organizational goals. The Senior Technical Business Analyst is instrumental in delivering seamless digital banking solutions by managing requirements throughout the development process and supporting system integration, testing, and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement elicitation activities including conducting stakeholder meetings, workshops, and analysis sessions to gather comprehensive business needs.
• Document detailed business requirements using formats such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Translate complex business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications that guide development and testing teams.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to support the design of APIs, system integrations, and workflow enhancements.
• Manage coordination among development, quality assurance, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project health.
• Oversee and actively participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other testing phases to validate solution functionality and performance.
• Facilitate smooth go-live transitions by coordinating deployment activities, supporting end users, and managing change control processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of three business analysts by providing guidance on best practices in documentation, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all project stakeholders to ensure transparency, gather feedback, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations within all business analysis deliverables and processes.
• Utilize project management principles to track deliverables and report status updates to senior management.
• Continuously improve business analysis processes by adopting best practices and leveraging industry certifications such as PMP, CBAP, and Scrum.
