Senior Systems & Network Engineer
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Systems & Network Engineer with strong expertise in on-prem infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and security.
The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience in enterprise environments, including hybrid architectures (on-prem + cloud).
Mandatory Technical Skills
The candidate must demonstrate solid hands-on experience in the following areas:
Infrastructure & Virtualization
- Nutanix (AHV, cluster management, troubleshooting, performance optimization)
- Active Directory (Design, GPO, DNS, DHCP, replication, hardening, hybrid AD integration)
Cloud Platforms (Strong Expertise Required)
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- Virtual Machines
- VNet design & peering
- VPN / ExpressRoute
- Azure Backup
- RBAC & security best practices
- Hybrid architecture integration
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- EC2
- VPC design
- Security Groups / NACL
- IAM
- S3
- Backup & DR strategies
- Site-to-site VPN configuration
Candidate must have real deployment and migration experience (not only administration).
Backup & Data Protection
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Commvault
- Disaster Recovery planning and testing
Networking
- Cisco Switches (L2/L3, VLAN, STP, routing, troubleshooting)
- Cisco Wireless (WLC, AP deployment, SSID configuration, security policies)
Security
- Fortinet Firewalls (Policies, NAT, VPN, HA, IPS, troubleshooting)
- FortiCloud
- FortiManager
- FortiAnalyzer
Good to Have
- Endpoint Management: SentinelOne
- SASE Solutions:
- Zscaler
- Netskope
- Experience in hybrid cloud security architecture
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage hybrid infrastructure (On-prem + Cloud)
- Deploy and maintain AWS and Azure environments
- Implement secure network architecture
- Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security
- Participate in infrastructure design and improvement projects
- Provide Level Level 3 support
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Systems & Network Engineering
- Strong cloud architecture mindset
- Experience in hybrid migration projects
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Relevant certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure, Cisco, Fortinet, Nutanix, Veeam
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED12,000.00 per month
