Sales Manager - Team Lead- IT Cyber Security Industry
About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager & Team Lead with strong experience in IT and Managed Security Services (MSSP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a sales team, acquiring new clients, and expanding existing accounts within the cybersecurity domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in IT and MSSP services
- Promote and sell cybersecurity solutions such as SOC, SIEM, endpoint security, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cloud security
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to design customized solutions
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Monitor team performance, sales pipeline, and forecasting reports
- Stay updated on industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and competitor activities
Key Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in IT/cybersecurity sales (MSSP experience preferred)
- Prior experience in a team handling or leadership role is mandatory
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, SOC, EDR, firewalls, cloud security, etc.)
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Strong network within the cybersecurity or enterprise IT market
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with MSSP providers or cybersecurity vendors
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
