Job purpose

Bridge departmental business needs and technology solutions by evaluating, designing, and supporting implementation of IT systems.

Ensure solutions for contract management, financial operations, performance governance, and process improvement are fit for purpose and aligned with RTA standards and strategy.

Strategy and governance

  • Translate requirements for contract management and annual planning into system specifications and technology recommendations.
  • Evaluate systems against strategic objectives, conduct gap analyses, and recommend improvements to business-system alignment.
  • Identify system-driven operational process improvements and prepare business requirement documents and functional specifications.
  • Assess CPM, MEGA, and Hyperion capabilities and recommend enhancements for reliable performance measurement.

Systems and process operations

  • Analyze contract lifecycle management requirements and design platform workflows and tracking.
  • Map integrations across GRP/Maximo, financial systems, and procurement platforms; identify data-flow gaps affecting change orders and invoices.
  • Assess CPM, MEGA, OPMS, and other operational systems, document findings, and coordinate corrective configurations and updates.
  • Recommend workflow and process-integration improvements, support system optimization and automation, and assess the impact of system changes.
  • Help improve data quality, reporting, and functional performance.

Education and experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a diploma.
