Role overview
Data Business Analyst role for a digital marketing program serving a leading CPG company’s marquee brand website in Singapore and other countries.
Experience and education
- Around 8–12 years of IT experience and proven project or program execution experience; digital marketing or AdTech experience is preferred.
- Technology graduate or MBA; an MBA with a Marketing major from a reputed business school is preferred.
Data and analysis skills
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience querying, analyzing, and validating large datasets are mandatory.
- Requires understanding of data applications and delivery, including data ingestion, ETL/ELT, warehouses/lakes, visualization, master data management, analytics, and machine learning.
- Requires analytical, data-driven thinking and understanding of data design, flow, analysis, and mapping.
Role responsibilities
- Discover functional and technical requirements for data applications and transition relevant knowledge.
- Assess technical designs and implementations, identify gaps, and elicit information needed to address them.
- Represent and support geographically distributed development teams as a proxy product owner through requirements, estimation, verification, and validation.
- Liaise between customers and offshore teams; support team building and organizational digital initiatives.
Customer and delivery experience
- Requires customer-facing experience and independent handling of customers, relevant parties, or incumbent vendors.
- Requires experience working with globally distributed virtual teams and in an onsite/offshore model.
- Strong communication skills are required.
Tools
- Experience with agile tools such as JIRA for requirements management is listed.
