What You Will Do
- Own design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support for complex Java/Spring and React features.
- Deliver business capabilities while improving maintainability, performance, and reliability.
- Design scalable APIs, integrations, and service-oriented solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, integration, and database layers.
- Modernize a large legacy Java monolith using incremental migration approaches.
- Reduce technical debt and improve architecture, code quality, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.
- Drive engineering standards, automated testing, secure development, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
- Support Azure and/or AWS cloud-native deployments.
- Participate in monitoring, observability, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- More than seven to eight years of professional software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications is required.
- Production application support experience, including incident investigation, performance troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, is required.
- Experience working within large, established codebases is required.
- Experience modernizing, refactoring, or migrating enterprise systems while maintaining production operations is required.
- A degree or equivalent qualification is required.
- Solid SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL experience are required.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8–21 with practical Spring Boot and Spring Cloud knowledge is required.
Technical Skills
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing and CI/CD tooling is required.
- React frontend application experience is part of the full-stack scope.
- Cloud-native deployment experience includes Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with secure development practices, monitoring, observability, and operational support is required.
