Data Scientist for AI Products

Role overview

What you will do

• Analyze different data sources, types, and structures to derive actionable insights.
• Replicate existing AI products and pipelines across systems used by the global AI team.
• Support architectural design and define data requirements for new developments.
• Identify business opportunities with potential impact in collaboration with business functions.
• Support model development and deployment into production.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computational Statistics or Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with multivariate statistics, machine learning, and probability.
• Experience using quantitative techniques and available data to answer business questions.
• Hands-on experience preprocessing, engineering and selecting features, and cleansing real-world datasets.
• Strong Python background and experience handling large datasets with SQL in a business environment.
• Knowledge of data architectures and practical large-dataset visualization experience.
• Very good English skills are required.
• Engineering or technology role experience is preferred.
• DevOps and Microsoft Azure experience are a plus; Azure ML, Kedro, Airflow, or MLflow experience is also a plus.
• Flexibility to overlap work hours with Americas time zones for real-time interaction and delivery.
• Result-driven, with communication and social competence to structure projects from idea through experimentation, prototype, and implementation.

Tools and technologies

• Examples of Python libraries include pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and statsmodels.
• Tableau or Power BI are cited as examples for visualization.
