SearchPlus HR is delighted to invite applications for the position of Senior Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon at a leading healthcare facility.
This prestigious role requires an experienced surgeon to deliver expert surgical care, lead clinical teams, and contribute to the advancement of colorectal healthcare services.
As the Senior Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, performing advanced surgical procedures, and playing a leading role in shaping patient care protocols.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exemplary patient outcomes and promote continuous improvement in surgical practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead surgical management and clinical decision-making for complex colon and rectal cases.
- Perform advanced colorectal surgeries, including minimally invasive and open procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and clinical staff to foster professional development.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Develop and implement best practices and clinical guidelines for colon and rectal surgical care.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic publications to advance colorectal surgery knowledge.
- Ensure thorough pre-operative and post-operative care with attention to patient education and recovery.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and uphold medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous professional development and remain current with emerging surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license.
- Extensive experience as a colon and rectal surgeon, including senior-level roles.
- Completion of residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing clinical teams.
- Proven expertise in advanced colorectal surgical techniques and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with patients effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to research, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.
