Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the end-to-end customer experience and operational activities within the Freight Forwarding department, ensuring alignment with Noatum’s strategic goals and compliance with local regulations.
This role focuses on business development, pricing strategies, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring seamless coordination of operational activities with other functions
- Define, implement, and execute business development strategies to maximize profits and grow market share in the assigned area.
- Develop and manage pricing and tariff strategies to enhance profitability.
- Coordinate all transactional operations, including export, import, and customs activities, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal procedures.
- Provide clear guidelines to the Export, Import, and Gateway teams to ensure operations align with Noatum’s strategy and comply with the local business environment.
- Foster a high-performance service culture within the Export and Import functions.
- Ensure operational performance meets regional and local business needs.
- Mentor and develop team members continuously, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Employee Performance: Manage employee performance through regular evaluations, disciplinary actions, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Compliance and Optimization: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulations, and identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Proven track record in business development and pricing strategy implementation.
- Strong team management skills.
- Experience in fostering a high-performance culture and managing employee performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in Freight Forwarding with at least 3-5 years in a supervisor role.
