Role overview

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

The role involves leading technical initiatives, developing Java full-stack applications, and delivering cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the technical domain.
  • Contribute to large-scale planning of technical strategies.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document technology projects, including upgrades and deployments.
  • Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges involving technologies, procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and write technical specifications for complex modules and applications.
  • Develop original code and provide coding direction to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance cloud-native solutions.

Required qualification

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired technical experience

  • Experience with OpenShift or PCF and web application UI and server technologies.
  • Experience with Angular or React, Spring, JDBC, JavaBeans, and Java services.
  • Experience developing RESTful web services and microservices with Spring Boot.
  • Experience with MVC services, Oracle or SQL Server, JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, object storage, CI/CD, and Autosys.
  • Experience delivering cloud solutions using Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design, development, and Java patterns and practices.
