About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Joblet.ai, you will be a technical anchor on our product engineering team, driving architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers.
You will own complex systems end-to-end, from design through deployment, and play a critical role in shaping how we scale our AI-native hiring infrastructure globally.
What You Will Do
- **System Architecture:**
- Lead the design and implementation of high-impact, high-scale systems across the Joblet.ai platform.
- **Technical Leadership:**
- Drive architecture discussions and produce clear technical specs that align engineering output with broader product goals.
- Define technical standards and best practices across backend, frontend, and data layers.
- **Mentorship:**
- Elevate the engineering team by mentoring peers through rigorous code reviews, pair programming, and continuous technical guidance.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Partner directly with the Machine Learning and Data teams to bring intelligent matching capabilities and AI-driven features to production.
- **System Health:**
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex reliability, security, and performance bottlenecks.
What We Are Looking For
- **Experience:**
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated track record of impact in a product-led environment.
- **Backend Expertise:**
- Deep proficiency in backend systems (Python, Go, or Node.js preferred) and a strong grasp of distributed systems design.
- **Infrastructure & Cloud:**
- Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- **Execution:**
- A proven track record of owning and successfully delivering large-scale technical projects end-to-end.
- **Communication:**
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- You must be able to translate complex system decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Mindset:**
- A strong growth mindset and a genuine interest in leveraging AI/ML applications within enterprise software.
