Crowe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Product Engineering practice.
The role supports an Agile Scrum team enhancing and maintaining the Insight product used by the Audit practice.
Insight is built on a Microsoft-focused technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and support the Insight product with the program team.
- Apply .NET, web, database, SharePoint Online, and Azure technologies to meet business requirements.
- Refine requirements and advise the team and architect on technical approaches.
- Promote early quality practices, address impediments, and support sprint objectives.
- Establish and enforce software development practices and architectures.
- Use AI coding assistants and troubleshoot product issues efficiently.
Required qualifications
- At least 6 years of full-stack engineering experience with enterprise web applications.
- Experience with ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, React or Angular, SQL Server, and Entity Framework in n-tier architectures.
- Strong object-oriented programming, inversion of control, and unit testing experience.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar work management platform and Git.
- Experience conducting code reviews and collaborating on solution improvements.
- Experience using an AI coding assistant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Preferred experience with Azure.
- Preferred experience building AI-backed business features or agents.
- Preferred experience with SharePoint development.
