• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.
• Working hours are 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

Compensation

• Annual compensation is C$54,000–C$78,000 based on experience, qualifications, technical depth, and role scope.

What You Will Do

• Own architecture, engineering quality, technical audits, and launch readiness.
• Assess the application, infrastructure, security, permissions, financial workflows, AI workflows, integrations, deployment processes, and codebase.
• Identify risks, technical debt, security vulnerabilities, scalability issues, data-integrity problems, incomplete workflows, and launch blockers.
• Lead frontend, backend, integration, AI/automation, DevOps/cloud, and QA engineering resources.
• Review code, pull requests, estimates, engineering practices, and technical decisions.
• Translate product requirements into scalable solutions and evaluate feasibility, dependencies, complexity, timelines, and trade-offs.
• Strengthen APIs, databases, authentication, authorization, RBAC, audit logging, workflow automation, and system integrations.
• Improve payment, payout, ledger, reconciliation, reporting, AI/LLM, integration, monitoring, and failure-recovery reliability.
• Establish standards for code reviews, testing, QA, CI/CD, deployment, documentation, monitoring, incident response, and production releases.
• Provide leadership with assessments of technical risks, engineering performance, progress, resource needs, architecture decisions, and launch readiness.

What We Are Looking For

• A relevant bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of professional software engineering experience are required.
• At least 4 years of software architecture or senior technical leadership experience is required.
• Experience with complex production SaaS platforms, backend architecture, frontend architecture, databases, APIs, distributed systems, security, scalability, and data integrity is required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and balancing hands-on technical work with leadership is required.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, queues, retries, logging, monitoring, rate limits, failure recovery, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, QA, and production deployment is required.
• Production AI/LLM integration experience covering evaluation, monitoring, privacy, hallucination risk, human review, and cost management is required.
• Excellent English communication skills are required.
• A master’s degree, 15+ years of experience, PropTech or related domain experience, launch stabilization experience, and relevant certifications are nice to have.
