Oversee day-to-day construction activities and coordinate contractors and vendors.
Ensure projects meet approved drawings, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activity and coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements; monitor progress against timelines.
- Check civil, structural, finishing, and related construction quality; review drawings for site-level discrepancies.
- Coordinate contractor manpower, materials, and schedules; guide junior engineers and site supervisors.
- Prepare daily progress reports and document site activities, approvals, measurements, and work completion.
- Monitor material use, handling, and storage; conduct inspections and monitor safety compliance.
- Identify delays, quality issues, and technical challenges and coordinate their resolution.
- Verify measurements and assist with quantity calculations and contractor bills; report progress and requirements to management.
Required qualifications and skills
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in construction, residential, villa, or real-estate projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, site execution, and civil and structural drawings.
- Strong site coordination and contractor management skills; able to monitor activities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety practices; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for site execution.
Preferred experience
- Experience with premium residential projects, luxury villas, high-end construction, or interior finishing is an advantage.
Pay
- ₹10,966.18–₹30,751.30 per month.
