Junior Site Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist senior and principal architects with designs and project drawings; prepare 2D and working drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, layouts, and presentation drawings.
• Update drawings for client requirements and project changes; keep them accurate, current, and issued to relevant teams on time.
• Coordinate with interior, structural, MEP, and site execution teams, as well as vendors and consultants.
• Attend site visits to compare drawings with site conditions; support BOQs, material specifications, design documentation, client presentations, and proposals.
• Maintain drawing and revision records; identify and help resolve design or execution issues.
• Ensure work follows project requirements, applicable standards, and company guidelines; support multiple projects and assigned timelines.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization, Lumion, Enscape, or similar software is an advantage.
• The role calls for understanding architectural drawings and construction details, and basic knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
• Communication, coordination, detail, accuracy, time management, organization, teamwork, and collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications and experience

• A Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution is required.
• Preferred experience is 1–3 years in architecture, residential construction, interior projects, or related fields.
• Villa or residential construction project experience is an added advantage; relevant internship or project experience is encouraged.

Workplace and availability

• The description specifies work from the Bangalore office and in-person work.

Pay
