Senior Architect

Position summary

Required experience and qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of relevant architectural design and project execution experience is required.
• Substantial hands-on experience is required in high-rise residential and apartment projects; residential communities, townships, and gated communities; hotels, resorts, and service apartments; and large educational, institutional, or mixed-use developments.
• Experience with reputed construction companies, developers, architectural consultancies, or design-build organizations is required.
• A Master’s Degree in Architecture (M.Arch) and COA registration are preferred.

Design and coordination responsibilities

• Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction stages; prepare layouts, presentations, working drawings, construction documentation, and specifications.
• Develop design concepts, space plans, façade treatments, and material selections that meet client, project, feasibility, and industry requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and external consultants, project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Review consultant drawings and participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and design reviews.
• Prepare and review working drawings, construction details, BOQ inputs, and technical specifications; resolve execution-stage technical and design issues.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, statutory approvals, fire-safety norms, and building codes; conduct design reviews and value engineering.
• Visit sites to monitor progress and implementation, verify work against approved drawings and quality standards, and advise site teams.
• Lead and mentor architects, draftsmen, BIM modelers, and design team members; review deliverables and maintain design standards.
• Attend client meetings, present design solutions, manage approvals and stakeholder coordination, and resolve project concerns.

Technical skills and competencies

• Mandatory software proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, Twinmotion, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Rendering and visualization capabilities include photorealistic architectural rendering, 3D visualization and walkthroughs, presentation design, and client demonstrations.
• Core areas include high-rise and residential design, township planning, hospitality and institutional architecture, construction documentation, regulatory compliance, project coordination, and site execution.
• Team leadership, mentoring, client relationship management, communication, presentation, problem-solving, quality assurance, and technical review are listed competencies.

Preferred experience

• Experience with luxury residential and villa projects, high-rise towers, hospitality and resort projects, educational campuses, institutional buildings, design-build and turnkey construction, and sustainable or green building practices is preferred.
• Preference is given to portfolios showing delivery of high-rise residential, large-scale community, hospitality, and institutional infrastructure projects from concept through construction completion.

Pay

• ₹19,000–₹80,000 per month.
