Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location and engagement

• The role is remote.
• The contract duration is 12 months with an optional 24-month extension.
• Reliability Status security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across enterprise platform modules.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into epics, user stories, technical designs, and development tasks.
• Maintain ServiceNow forms, tables, catalog items, workflows, scripts, notifications, ACLs, portals, dashboards, and reports.
• Design and support integrations with internal and third-party systems using APIs and approved data exchange mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot incidents and defects, perform root cause analysis, and support enhancement requests.
• Document requirements, designs, testing, deployments, and operational support activities.
• Execute testing, remediate defects, and support releases, deployments, change records, rollback procedures, and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in Agile delivery and governance with project teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of recent ServiceNow Developer experience.
• Have at least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow product lines in complex organizations.
• Have experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, service catalogs, portals, reporting, integrations, and automation.
• Have experience troubleshooting ServiceNow issues, defects, and incidents in an enterprise environment.
• Have experience documenting technical designs, configuration changes, testing, and deployment activities.
• Know JavaScript, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, REST/SOAP, import sets, transform maps, and update sets.
• Know ITIL, Agile delivery, and ServiceNow governance practices.
• Hold a relevant university degree or college diploma.
