Location and Work Arrangement

  • Remote work with two meetings per month in Montreal.

Contract Duration

  • Three-year contract with a one-year extension option.

Security Clearance

  • Reliability Status security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and initiate IT Security Vulnerability Analysis activities with stakeholders, required documentation, and expected deliverables.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis across IT systems, assess systems, and document findings.
  • Evaluate risks associated with vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Review VAPT results and validate implementation evidence.
  • Assess and tailor security controls and review security control implementations.
  • Assess risks from existing Threat and Risk Assessments and support residual risk determination.
  • Prepare security vulnerability analysis deliverables and supporting documentation.
  • Review system architectures and documents, and support assessment workshops.
  • Present findings and recommendations and support technical discussions.
  • Support authorization packages, risk-based authorization decisions, periodic reassessments, and continuous monitoring.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer through presentations, briefings, workshops, and shared lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Experience on at least three distinct projects preparing, reviewing, updating, or supporting at least four specified security authorization deliverables.
  • Experience completing security vulnerability analyses and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Experience applying Government of Canada cybersecurity requirements, CCCS guidance, ITSG-33, NIST, ISO 28001, or comparable standards.
  • Experience assessing IT systems, documenting findings, and evaluating risks.
  • Experience reviewing VAPT results.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills for risk-based decisions.
