Hands-on senior SAP Systems Engineer role supporting integration of enterprise SAP platforms with AI and intelligent automation solutions.
Build secure, scalable integrations that enable AI applications and automation platforms to interact with business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and HR.
Required experience and expertise
- At least 7 years of SAP Systems Engineering, SAP Integration, or SAP Architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and SAP BTP.
- Experience designing or supporting SAP integrations with AI-powered applications, intelligent automation platforms, or modern enterprise technologies.
- Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData Services, BAPIs, and CDS Views.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP, HANA, and SAP data architecture.
- Experience delivering secure, scalable, high-performance integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of governance, security, and enterprise system design principles.
What you'll do
- Design and implement integration frameworks connecting SAP platforms with AI and automation solutions.
- Build and optimise APIs, data access layers, and enterprise integration services.
- Enable secure access to SAP data, workflows, and business processes.
- Support enterprise AI and automation initiatives through robust SAP integration capabilities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to define integration strategies.
- Embed governance, security, compliance, and audit requirements in solutions.
- Optimise performance, reliability, and scalability across the SAP landscape.
Nice to have
- SAP Datasphere or BW/4HANA experience.
- Exposure to enterprise AI, intelligent automation, or agent-based technologies.
- Experience integrating SAP with cloud-native platforms and services.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
