Security Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assess and strengthen security across AI/ML platforms and cloud environments.
• Identify and mitigate prompt injection, data leakage, and LLM vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability testing.
• Review IAM, API security, encryption, and network security controls.
• Support data protection, security monitoring, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to remediate security findings.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, or data security.
• Strong hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Practical exposure to AI/ML platforms, LLM security risks, and AI threat modelling.
• Experience with IAM, API security, encryption, and network security.
• Understanding of DLP, data governance, and security controls.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or CI/CD security automation.

Preferred qualifications

• AZ-500, SC-100, AI-102, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM certifications are advantageous.
• Azure AI services, secure RAG, or agentic AI experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with OWASP LLM security guidance and AI security frameworks is a plus.
• Enterprise or regulated-environment security experience is a plus.

Contract and workplace

• 12-month contract based at a client site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
