Role and programme

Build production full-stack applications for an engineering intelligence platform and autonomous enterprise agents in a flagship Defence AI Transformation programme.

Work in a secure, on-premise environment under a structured Stage Gate delivery model and national-defence infrastructure standards.

What you’ll do

  • Build React/Next.js interfaces with streaming LLM responses, citations, and interactive widgets.
  • Design agent orchestration for specialised finance and operations agents, including state, task routing, and error handling.
  • Build task routers and frontend state management that map user prompts to defined skills and playbooks.
  • Create a secure data access layer for agents to read from and write to SAP; surface data through dashboards and visualisations.
  • Build RAG backends over vector databases and search interfaces for internal knowledge and technical documents.
  • Build market and supplier data connectors for supply-chain risk scoring and comparative-analysis UI components.
  • Implement authentication, RBAC, sensitive-data redaction, and frontend XSS/CSRF protections.
  • Deploy securely on-premise, optimise bundles and constrained-resource use, and own end-to-end observability.

Experience and technical qualifications

  • At least five years of full-stack engineering experience, including production web applications serving ML/AI.
  • Expert TypeScript/JavaScript with React or Next.js, complex state management, and WebSockets or SSE streaming.
  • Expert Python using FastAPI or Django, plus Node.js, Go, or Java for high-performance services.
  • REST and gRPC API design, with API gateways such as Kong or NGINX.
  • PostgreSQL and vector database experience, including Weaviate or Milvus.
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience in on-premise environments.
  • Track record with mission-critical, auditable systems, ideally in fintech, healthcare, or defence.
  • Comfort shipping Agile sprints through rigorous Stage Gate and systems-engineering reviews.

Strong pluses

  • ERP integration such as SAP, OData, or SOAP is a strong plus.
  • Experience building chat or agent UIs on top of LLMs is a strong plus.
  • Regulated or high-security deployment experience is a strong plus.

Location and work setting

  • The role is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  • The production environment is secure and on-premise.
