Senior SAP FI Consultant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP FI implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Taxation in SAP FI.
• Ensure SAP FI integration with MM, SD, and CO.
• Prepare functional design documents and collaborate with technical teams on RICEFW developments.
• Support system testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for finance-related issues.
• Participate in financial period closing and reporting support.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices with stakeholders.
• Deliver user training and documentation when required.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7–9 years of hands-on SAP FI configuration and support experience.
• Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Taxation.
• Experience with at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or multiple support projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI integration with MM, SD, and CO.
• Experience in financial reporting and month-end and year-end closing.
• Ability to create functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation and GST compliance.
• Exposure to data migration, interfaces, IDocs, and system integration.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• CA, MBA in Finance, or SAP FI certification is an added advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

Pay

• Pay is ₹1,800,000.00–₹3,000,000.00 per year.
