Role Description
The Senior Sales Manager will lead business development and sales efforts for UAE Food Cluster’s programs and services, with a focus on building strategic partnerships across the food value chain.
This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site meetings and events, and some work-from-home flexibility.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and developing sales plans aligned with the Cluster’s mission of resilience and sustainability in the food sector.
The Senior Sales Manager will conduct market analysis, prepare proposals and presentations, negotiate agreements, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as manufacturers, retailers, and government entities.
The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align sales activities with program objectives, tracking performance against targets, and representing UAE Food Cluster at industry forums and networking events.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, account management, and business development within food, FMCG, agribusiness, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and relationship management with private and public sector entities.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, pipeline management, and forecasting to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Familiarity with food security, sustainability, or agri-tech trends in the UAE or GCC region is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively between on-site duties in Dubai and remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office; experience with data-driven sales reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder setting and adapt to evolving national initiatives and priorities.
- Fluency in English
