Lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of robotic systems and automation solutions to improve industrial efficiency and productivity.
Applications include welding, surface preparation, and coating; the role works with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design industrial robotic systems and lead hardware and software architecture development.
- Develop motion planning, navigation, and control algorithms; program robots using ROS, C++, and Python.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, machine vision, and AI technologies.
- Develop autonomous navigation and manipulation systems; simulate, test, debug, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering; prepare technical documentation and specifications.
- Lead prototypes through production deployment, troubleshoot systems, and provide technical support.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate emerging robotics technologies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of robotics experience and strong experience with industrial robot platforms, including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and open-source robots.
- Conceptual knowledge of quadrupeds, humanoids, and rovers.
- Proficiency in ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, MATLAB, robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Extensive AI, machine learning, and computer vision knowledge; experience with Gazebo, MATLAB Simulink, or RViz.
- Experience with AMRs or AGVs; knowledge of SLAM, path planning, and computer vision.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 9,000–10,000 per month.
