Role overview
Mechanical drafting role supporting EPC projects in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare general arrangement and fabrication detail drawings for API 650 storage tanks, spheres, pressure vessels, columns, and heat exchangers.
- Prepare plant piping, pipe support, and structural drawings, plus material take-offs and bills of quantities.
- Check drawings and coordinate with other discipline draftsmen and design engineers.
- Prepare as-built drawings and handle more than one project at a time.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 4–6 years of oil and gas industry experience.
- Fully conversant with AutoCAD and Cad Worx.
- Experience drafting EPC projects using international codes, major oil and gas industry standards, and good engineering practice.
Pay
- AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
