Lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of robotic systems and automation solutions for industrial applications.
The work focuses on welding, surface preparation, and coating, with the goal of improving operational efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement industrial robotic systems and lead robotic hardware and software architecture development.
- Develop motion planning, navigation, control, autonomous navigation, and robotic manipulation systems.
- Program robots and integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, machine vision, and AI technologies.
- Simulate, test, debug, and optimize systems; troubleshoot robots and provide technical support.
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams; prepare technical documents, reports, and specifications.
- Lead prototypes through production deployment, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate emerging robotics technologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of robotics experience; strong experience with industrial robots including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and open-source robots.
- Conceptual knowledge of quadrupeds, humanoids, and rovers; proficiency with ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Extensive AI, machine learning, and computer vision knowledge; proficiency in robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Experience with Gazebo, MATLAB Simulink, or RViz; AMRs or AGVs; and knowledge of SLAM, path planning, and computer vision.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch; these frameworks are described as examples.
